Ghibli Inspired Engagement
Met Gavin when we were both in a photo outing at the Montreal Botanical Garden. I still remember him bringing everything from his 40D, his 24-70L and 50 1.4 usm to his giant reflector. Years went by and he moved to Hong Kong. When he knew I was flying back and forth from Montreal to Seoul to visit my girlfriend at the time (now wife), he suggested that I pass by his city to meet his wife Yuko for a shoot. He then was superbly prepared and scouted areas eligible to appear in a Ghibli "princess mononoke" inspired photoshoots with Kodamas, the forest, everything. Took me to places I didn't even know existed in Hong Kong.
